About the Role:
Tekvana Inc is looking for a talented Workday Finance and Reporting specialist to join our growing team in Jersey City, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your Workday expertise in a dynamic, tech-forward environment where your contributions will directly impact financial operations and business intelligence. Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Financial Management modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
- Design and develop custom Workday reports, dashboards, and composite reports to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
- Perform Workday system administration, including business process configuration and security role management
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes within the Workday platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday finance and reporting issues, escalating as needed
- Participate in Workday upgrades, testing, and the rollout of new features and functionality
Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management and Workday Reporting
- Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, BIRT, and Calculated Fields
- Strong understanding of core finance and accounting principles (GL, AP, AR, budgeting)
- Experience with Workday business process configuration and security administration
- Workday Finance or Reporting certification is a strong plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
